Untitled is a kind of Fluxus score that is marked by a Fluxus style humor. The sentence written in Korean by Nam June Paik in acrylic on a canvas, “He who looks at this painting for more than one hour will succeed in the stock market,” has the power to stop even those who are not interested in paintings. The work shows Paik’s criticism on the present situation in which works of art are consumed and distributed as a commodity in the art market, and leaves the action of criticism up to the audience.
