TV color bars that Nam June Paik frequently used in his videos can also be found in his paintings. In Untitled, eight color bars of white, yellow, light blue, green, pink, red, dark blue, and black are repeated in four rows, moving one column to the left in each row. Two white canvases are attached to the canvas in oblique directions. The left canvas displays the sun, a TV set, and human faces overlapped with black lines in the form of large Vs, along with the word “LION” written above. On the right, a round face is repeated numerously like a pattern.
