This is an installation work composed of a single-channel video and objects. The video is a textual composition of the conversation between K, an audience member, and the artist, Shiu Jin. K persuades the artist to restore the damaged work and make it available for exhibition again. Then, the artist tells the process from the creation of the work to the state after it was damaged and his point of view on restoration. The objects installed along with the video are the subjects of conversation in the video. They consist of a broken wooden chair and a sculpture in the shape of a mouse that fell off the leg of the chair. The chair has always been displayed lying flat or standing up with a mouse-shaped sculpture as a support. Ultimately, this work acquires a new meaning through dialogue without physical restoration or transformation.
