As one of the early TV installations by Nam June Paik, TV Clock consists of 24 TV monitors. 24 TV monitors represent 24 hours of the day, with each monitor showing the time of the day through different angles of the line. This was made possible by removing the vertical deflection circuit of the television tube, thus visualizing time through the collapsed image of the screen into a single line of electric ray. Comprised of 24 color TV monitors, this work conveys the passage of time in a serene, meditative mood.
