What was left from yesterday…” To the left of the body reads, “was all given to a dog, and I am going to take a nap again.” Only the television placed between the two legs is depicted in color, and the screen shows a scene at daybreak. A postcard attached over it was produced by Nam June Paik to celebrate his 54th birthday. The postcard illustrates historical events that took place around July 20th, the day of his birthday, in the context of world politics: “JACQUELINE ONASSIS BORN” in 1928 (possibly mistook July 28th, 1929), “STAUFFENBERG KILLED” in 1944, which represents Claus von Stauffenberg who attempted to assassinate Hitler, and “MOONLANDING” in 1969 when Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon for the first time. Under the years 0068 B.C. and 2168 A.D, written at the beginning and the end of the list, are math formulae made up of only question marks. The last formula is the official logo of Nam June Paik Art Center.
