Paik maintained studios on Grand Street, Broome Street, Greene Street, and Mercer Street in Soho, New York. The picture shows a video-editing studio located in the loft of Paik’s house where he lived with Shigeko Kubota from 1974, on 110 Mercer Street. On the right-hand side is a set of electronic equipment including control boards and output devices such as monitors and speakers.
